Scrum Master - Project Management and Leadership
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team in a project management and leadership capacity. The successful candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, with expertise in Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
Key Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of:
• Planning, overseeing, and managing changes from request submission to completion
• Ensuring all necessary information (scope, test cases, etc.) is available for prioritization and planning
• Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Managing engineering development projects and facilitating sprint releases
• Driving sprint execution through collaboration among globally dispersed teams
• Guiding team in time estimation practices and facilitating team estimates
• Managing team iterations, protecting from uncontrolled work changes
• Resolving project conflicts, challenges, and adapting to dynamic business requirements
• Collaborating with leads to resolve personnel issues and project roadblocks
• Conducting post-mortems and root cause analyses for continuous improvement
• Implementing and supporting principles, rules, and processes
• Identifying and eliminating impediments to facilitate workflow
• Maintaining project data in management software (e.g., JIRA)
• Presenting quality project updates to senior management
• Requirements

• The following skills and qualifications are essential:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology
• 2-4 years of experience in technology projects (Infrastructure, Industrial Automation, Transportation)
• Expertise in agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices
• Understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog, burndown, velocity, user stories)
• Experience coaching on agile Scrum practices is a plus
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile procedures
• Experience working with Architecture teams to size stories/epics
• Commitment to timely product delivery
• Ability to bridge business and technology understanding
