Our team is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to facilitate Agile development processes and drive cross-functional collaboration.
The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and the ability to coach teams on best practices. They will also be responsible for breaking down complex projects into manageable tasks, monitoring progress, and promoting a culture of transparency and trust.
- Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile development processes, ensuring adherence to principles, practices, and ceremonies
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices, emphasizing self-organization and continuous improvement
- Guide the team in breaking down complex projects into manageable tasks and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Identify and address impediments or conflicts that may hinder the team's progress, working closely with stakeholders to find appropriate solutions
- Monitor and track project progress, using Agile project management tools and metrics to ensure timely delivery and meet quality standards
- Promote a culture of transparency, trust, and collaboration within the team and across departments
- Continuously improve Agile processes by identifying and implementing best practices and lessons learned
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in Agile methodologies, and relevant technologies to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the team
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications are highly desirable
- SAFe training and experience is advantageous
- Comprehensive leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams
- Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills to ensure productive collaboration
- Proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
