Job Description
As a seasoned Agile Delivery Manager, you will lead our IT projects through the delivery of high-quality solutions. Based in Portugal and working remotely, you will collaborate closely with UK-based stakeholders, with occasional travel to the UK (fully expensed). This role is ideal for someone with strong delivery leadership in IT environments, confident in managing cross-functional, distributed teams, and experienced in navigating fast-paced, agile project landscapes.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate key agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Drive the delivery of IT-focused projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations are met.
- Serve as the main point of coordination between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Remove blockers and support the team in achieving sprint goals and delivering business value.
- Monitor delivery progress using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Provide clear and regular status updates and delivery reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Promote agile best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Requirements
- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Scrum Master or Delivery Manager role within IT projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
- Experience leading distributed teams in a remote-first environment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on experience with agile project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Eligible to work remotely from Portugal.
