Senior Data Analyst

This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to help drive strategic decisions and optimize business processes. The role involves transforming raw data into actionable insights, developing reports and dashboards, and supporting the organization in identifying trends and opportunities for growth.

⚙ What will you do?

• Primary tasks:
• Create, restructure, and manage large datasets, files, and systems.
• Develop clear and actionable visualizations through Power BI dashboards.
• Filter, clean, and validate data, ensuring data accuracy and implementing performance indicators to identify and correct issues.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets with minimal guidance.
• Present her/his findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise communication.

• Secondary tasks:
• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Build stakeholder understanding of data usage and its impact on business decisions.
• Apply business logic to guide analysis, synthesize findings, and deliver clear, actionable insights.
• Follow standardized processes established by the Sodexo Data Factory.
• Document data processing decisions and summarize data quality in technical memos.Support implementation of continuous improvement processes for stakeholders.
• Continuously enhance technical skills and explore new technologies to stay current with industry advancements.

• ???? What you'll need to succeed?:
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, education, social sciences, or related fields required with two or more years of relevant work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
• 5/8 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar , with a record of analyzing large datasets and delivering actionable insights.
• Strong experience in using business intelligence tools, especially Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Proficient in data manipulation and query languages, particularly SQL.
• Strong knowledge of DBT, Databricks, or other data transformation & pipeline tools.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into data models and analytics solutions.
• Prior experience working in a data-driven environment and contributing to decision-making through analytics
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to approach complex data challenges methodically.
• Excellent communication skills to explain data insights and their business impact to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while maintaining clear focus on business outcomes.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated on new technologies and methodologies.
