As a Business Analytics Professional at Consort, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Global Markets front office's decision-making process through data-driven insights. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust database from diverse sources and creating advanced analytics, reports, and dashboards to deliver valuable insights to the Front Office.
Key responsibilities include data feeds industrialization, ETL, data warehousing, and data visualization. We collaborate closely with business sponsors, sales, and traders to identify opportunities and trends through data analysis.
Responsibilities:
Provide actionable data and analysis to support business growth
Develop data-driven solutions to meet stakeholders' needs
Lead business-critical analytical projects involving complex dataset retrieval, preparation, and analysis
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical professionals to present complex analysis results
Profile Technical Skills:
Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Programming experience in Python (Pandas) and proficiency in SQL
Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus
Familiarity with Big Data technology such as Pyspark, Presto, and Airflow is a plus
