Role Overview:

We are looking for a Business/Data Analyst to join one of our biggest clients in the Porto area (Hybrid). A multinational financial services firm, one of the largest financial groups and among the 30 largest financial institution’s globally.

As a Business Analyst you will work in a Agile environment and you must be able to respond quickly and work on ad hoc requests from within and across teams regarding evolutionary maintenance tasks and production support.

• What you will do:
• Gather and analyze Business Requirements for new and ongoing projects;
• Manage and respond to support requests;
• Write specifications and user stories according to project requirements;
• Define the plan for implementation of requests/projects;
• Track and report project progress.

• What you are like:
• At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst;
• Solid knowledge in financial products and market data;
• Proven experience in IT Business Analysis or Analytics;
• Knowledge in mathematics and statistics;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Python and R are a plus, but not mandatory)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies;
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Good level of English – minimum B2 (mandatory);
