The **BI Specialist** will work in IQVIA CSM Analytics team within CIO - Enterprise Business Technology. We develop and maintain BI tools based on CSM (Customer Service Management) data for our internal clients, supporting the relation with external clients. The BI Specialist participates in the implementation of new BI requests. He/she has an active role in the whole process: Identify the needs with internal clients, analyze the feasibility, propose a new data model as needed, develop the solution and provide support in the creation of reports. This job is very exciting and rewarding, as the BI Specialist will work in all phases of BI projects from the conception to final implementation & deployment.

CSM Analytics is a team where we participate actively in frequent calls discussing and proposing solutions to new requests, proposing ideas and making decisions as a team with global footprint.

• The BI Specialist will be also directly engaged in some broader analytics initiatives in the company, including IQVIA Performance Metrics global dashboards currently under construction.
• *Responsibilities**
• - Collaborates with service management leads, business analysts, end users to design and implement analytics Project and solutions.
• - Review business requirements and translate them into technical design
• - Design and implement technical solutions to support business analytics and reporting in the customer service area.
• - Collaborates with team members to develop and maintain suitable solution standards
• - Provides technical and business knowledge support to the team and stakeholders
• - Escalates time, cost or quality implications to project manager
• - Adheres to Project Management Office policies, procedures, and methodologies.
• - Ensures effective communication of technical requirements
• - Collaborate with onshore and offshore Development Resources into a global organization
• - Develops new and innovative custom analytic solutions to meet complex or specific challenges
• - Attends, supports, and drives internal meetings in English
• *Requirements**:

• - Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or equivalent experience
• - Five (5) years’ experience in analytics software development
• - IT consulting or analytics project management experience, including data model design
• - SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) skills
• - SQL Service Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Service Analysis Services (SSAS) skills
• - Microsoft Power BI: Experience in creating reports using OLAP source and relational databases
• - Hands-on experience with APIs, web services, and general integration challenges and solutions, ideally with MuleSoft or Informatica platform
• - Experienced in business information modeling and analytics system design
• - Customer service mindset and capability to act with a sense of urgency
• - Able to work both independently and within a team environment
• - Able to interact with multiple stakeholders in a global matrix organization
• - Demonstrate ability to work creatively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• - Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
• - Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited direct supervision
