As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire a Senior Cloud Analytics Specialist to oversee client engagements in our Porto or Lisbon office.

  • Description
  • Join a fast-growing team focused on data, automation, and financial intelligence within the consulting space;
  • Lead cross-functional cloud cost analysis and optimization initiatives across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on cloud consumption and financial impact;
  • Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and finance teams to establish governance and FinOps best practices.
  • Responsibilities
  • Analyze cloud usage and cost data across AWS, Azure, and GCP to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for savings;
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to monitor cloud spend, forecast usage, and track budget adherence;
  • Design and implement tagging strategies and policies to improve cost attribution and transparency;
  • Drive initiatives around FinOps, including tooling, process automation, and internal cost accountability;
  • Act as a subject matter expert in cloud pricing models, reserved/predictive pricing, and billing structures;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track KPIs related to cloud cost efficiency and optimization;
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and services to enhance cloud financial operations.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud cost management, cloud analytics, or FinOps;
  • Deep understanding of billing structures for AWS, Azure, and GCP;
  • Proficiency with cloud cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing, CloudHealth, Apptio, etc.);
  • Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker;
  • Experience with Python and SQL for automation and data manipulation;
  • Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Differentials
  • FinOps Certified Practitioner or equivalent certifications;
  • Experience setting up budgets, alerts, and cost anomaly detection systems;
  • Familiarity with IT financial planning, budgeting, and chargeback/showback models;
  • Passion for cloud technologies, analytics, and strategic cost optimization.
