Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Intelligence Developer to lead the development of our backend business intelligence solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing data warehouse and data lake solutions, as well as experience with advanced data modeling techniques.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions that support business goals and align with industry best practices.
- Drive performance optimization and workflow automation through schema evolution strategies and modern BI technologies to maximize system efficiency and scalability.
- Oversee the implementation of security frameworks and data governance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protecting sensitive business data.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape business rules, translate strategic needs into technical solutions, and drive ongoing enhancements to BI capabilities.
- Requirements
- At least six years of professional hands-on experience in developing data warehouse and data lake solutions, including advanced data modeling techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Python and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience in SQL (including SQL Server), with strong skills in database management, performance tuning, and query optimization strategies.
- Proficiency with Azure and services such as Data Factory, Blob Storage, Key Vault, and Logic Apps.
- Experience with Databricks, including cluster management, workflow orchestration, and performance tuning.
- Solid grasp of data architecture principles, including relational modeling and SCD type handling best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD practices using Gitflow, including code reviews, branch policies, and automated deployments.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Desirable Skills
- Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI.
- Familiarity with languages like Scala, Java, or similar.
- Experience with Master Data Services.
