BI Developer
About the Role:
We are looking for a BI Developer to join our remote team and contribute to the design and development of data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI , SQL Server , and Dataiku , and be comfortable working in Agile environments. This role involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data models to support effective analysis and reporting
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (Cloud and On-Prem)
- Integrate and transform data from various sources into Power BI
- Optimize performance of data models and queries for a better user experience
- Collaborate with business teams to ensure reporting solutions meet functional needs
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Perform testing and validation of developed BI solutions
- Technical Skills:
- Power BI (Cloud & On-Prem)
- Dataiku
- SQL Server
- Microsoft Azure
- Microsoft DevOps
- JIRA
- Functional & Soft Skills:
- Ability to understand and analyze functional specifications
- Strong functional analysis capabilities
- Understanding of inter-application functional interactions
- Technical documentation writing
- Proactive mindset with ability to suggest improvements and solutions
- Awareness of technology trends and framework lifecycle
- Experience with build procedures and compilation
- Incident and anomaly analysis
- Comfortable with pair programming
- Basic understanding of code quality and security audits
- Management Interaction:
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with Application Managers
