Job Description Lead Strategic Pricing Analyst About This Role As the Lead Strategic Pricing Analyst at OutSystems, you will drive the full pricing lifecycle across a diverse portfolio of PaaS products. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams from Product and Finance to Sales, you will craft data-backed pricing and packaging strategies that maximize profitability, support customer acquisition, and sustain recurring revenue growth. This high-impact, hands-on role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and plays a critical part in shaping pricing decisions within the fast-paced B2B SaaS, Low-Code, AI market. Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy & Monetization: Own end-to-end pricing and packaging strategy across a multi-product PaaS portfolio, including Low-Code and AI capabilities. Develop, execute, and continuously refine monetization strategies that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and customer retention. Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership to support high-impact strategic decisions in a dynamic SaaS environment. Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research, customer segmentation, and competitive benchmarking to identify pricing opportunities, inform go-to-market plans, and support the development of differentiated pricing models aligned with customer value and market trends. Financial Modeling & Analytics: Build robust pricing models, scenario analyses, and business cases to evaluate pricing changes, support product launches, and inform commercial negotiations. Leverage advanced SQL and statistical tools (e.g., Python, R) to analyze pricing performance and forecast business impact Business Intelligence & Visualization: Design and maintain dynamic BI dashboards to track pricing KPIs and provide a transparent, data-driven view of pricing effectiveness. Ensure analytics are actionable and accessible to cross-functional stakeholders. Strategic Initiatives & Process Leadership: Define and lead complex, cross-functional pricing initiatives such as pricing model redesigns, discounting optimization, and monetization strategies for emerging technologies (e.g., AI). Champion process improvements and scalable pricing infrastructure to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with Product, Sales, Finance, and Operational teams to align pricing strategies with the product roadmap and commercial objectives. Translate complex pricing concepts into clear, strategic business recommendations that resonate across technical and non-technical audiences. Platform & Product Knowledge: Continuously deepen understanding of the OutSystems platform architecture and value proposition to inform pricing strategy. Align monetization approaches with product capabilities, customer value drivers, and future innovation (e.g., AI integration). Qualifications / What You Need To Succeed Bachelor’s Degree (Required) / (Masters or PhD preferred) in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field. 2-3 years of experience in Pricing (B2B software preferred) conducting analyses, and developing solutions to complex SaaS/PaaS challenges (experience pricing/packaging AI is a plus). 5 years of experience in related roles (e.g., Pricing Analyst, Financial Analyst, Sales Operations, Management Consulting). Proven ability to develop data-driven hypotheses and translate insights into strategic recommendations that influence business decisions. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate the financial impact of pricing strategies to senior leadership Expertise in financial modeling, statistics, and scenario analysis focused on forecasting ARR and margins for subscription-based revenue streams. Expert-level Excel / Google Sheets skills required (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, macros, and data validation) with advanced SQL and R experience preferred. Skilled at creating clear, compelling presentations that simplify complex pricing strategies and analyses using PowerPoint or Google Slides. Experienced in designing and building comprehensive Power BI dashboards to support pricing strategies. Strong understanding of CRM, CPQ, and ERP systems to drive pricing optimizations. Fluent in written and spoken English for effective communication across teams.
