Job Title: Data Analyst
We are seeking a skilled data analyst to join our team in Faro. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for candidates of all nationalities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and the ability to work with various tools and software to extract, clean, and analyze data. A strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and concise manner is also essential for this role.
- Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large sets of data from various sources
- Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings in a clear and understandable manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide relevant insights
- Develop strategies for improving data collection processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field
- Proven work experience as a data analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, R, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is preferred
- Familiarity with statistical analysis methods such as regression, clustering, etc.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear manner
