Competitive Intelligence Team Lead

• A top European e-commerce brand seeks a seasoned professional to head its Competitive Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years of previous experience as a team or technical lead.
• Job Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing team of 4 Data Analysts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Manager and business stakeholders to drive effective workflows.
• Code Quality & Review: Maintain high technical standards within the team by reviewing code (SQL, Python).
• Competitive & Pricing Intelligence: Guide the analysis of competitor behavior and B2B pricing trends.
• Strategic & Operational Ownership: Own the roadmap and execution of competitor and B2B pricing analytics.
• Data Advocacy: Represent the Competitive Intelligence area internally.
• Hands-On Contribution: Actively contribute to analytical work.
• Requirements:
• Experience: Over 5 years in data analytics and more than 2 years of previous experience as a team or technical lead.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing or prototyping.
• Familiarity with Airflow, ETL, and data modeling.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of e-commerce and pricing mechanics.
• Communication: Clear, structured communicator able to simplify complexity for non-technical audiences.
• Problem Solving: Proactive mindset, able to identify gaps, generate ideas, and turn data into business value.
