Your Role :Kuehne+Nagel puts the customer into the center of all business activities and having complete, integrated and trusted data on all logistics process for every customer is of utmost importance for the success of the company. Customers and internal account managers at Kuehne + Nagel will rely on your technical expertise to provide them with accurate data in time to steer and optimize customer service and logistic processes. Your main contacts will be business unit teams on corporate and regional level who are building reports and dashboards in self-service manner. Your Responsibilities : Analyze, align and document requirements from the business unit together with the respective knowledge holders (requirements engineering); Align requests from the business units; Create technical specifications and effort estimations; Define and set up a development, deployment, QA and operational processes together with other BI architects; Implement ELT processes and Data Marts on Oracle and Snowflake; Lead the design of new Data Marts and BI solutions based on our standards; Organize and review the development, testing and deployment process; Develop a testing and quality assurance strategy; Prepare and optimize data structures for access from SAP Business Objects and Tableau. Your Skills and Experiences : Deep understanding of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques (Dimensional Modelling, Data Vault) Profound experience in Oracle database techniques and Oracle Partitioning Option and Oracle In-Memory Option Knowledge and experience with Snowflake, DBT and Airflow Strong hands-on skills: Drill deep into the complex system design and implementation when needed Curiosity and positive attitude towards constant renewal and innovation Good Reasons to Join :Your work will have a direct influence on the future of logistics and IT.
