Live What you will do The Business Analytics & Insights Team is recruiting for a Manager to lead market research, forecasting and competitive intelligence for several inline and pipeline products in the ELMAC region (Europe, Latin America, Middle East Africa, Canada). The main purpose of this role is to deliver market and sales analysis to maximize brand value, coordinate the forecasting process relative to the allocated brand and deliver strategic insights (via market research and competitive intelligence) to the Brand Team. In this position, you will work closely with the Global Marketing, Medical and Value, Pricing & Access teams as well as our Affiliates. This role will report to the ELMAC BAI Director. Job Responsibilities: Provide an objective and rigorous point of view to sales forecasting and product performance while collaborating with Global & Affiliates Marketing, Reimbursement/Value/Access, Center for Observational Research (CfOR), Commercial Insights and Forecasting teams Lead the development of the quarterly Latest Estimates (LE), and Long-Range Plan (LRP) forecasts. Develop/maintain an appropriate regional forecasting model and support the affiliates in further development/use of this model Coordinate with Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to develop forecasting inputs and assumptions for patient flow models. Ensure that marketing assumptions are appropriately linked to sales performance metrics and targets Liaise with Global & affiliates Pricing teams to develop pricing models and assumptions Execute primary market research projects, understanding the needs of the Brand Team and contributing to building the insight generation plan required to meet those needs Work to translate the primary market research findings into actionable insights and be able to influence the team’s decision making accordingly Improve team capabilities by researching and implementing new research tools Coordinate and facilitate CI collection efforts at major regional congresses Build Amgen’s capability in commercial insights, forecasting and competitive intelligence Support ad-hoc business development and licensing evaluations Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree and 2 years of pharmaceutical market analysis and/or business planning experience Or Master's degree and 4 years of pharmaceutical market analysis and/or business planning experience Or Bachelor's degree and 6 years of pharmaceutical market analysis and/or business planning experience Fluency in English, both oral and written communications Preferred Qualifications Commercial Analysis and/or Business Planning experience in more than one European country Expert in market analysis and forecasting (design of forecasting models, knowledge frameworks for qualitative competitive analysis, forecasting and analytical tools) Working knowledge (regulatory, pricing, reimbursement, healthcare practice, health systems) of major European healthcare markets Experience in product licensing and partnership evaluations Demonstrated exceptional strategic / critical thinking abilities and eye for business Ability to dig deep and uncover the “why” beneath the observed behaviors (go beyond the rationa
