Senior Power BI Engineer

We are looking for a talented Senior Power BI Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will create sophisticated data visualization solutions that support business intelligence and decision-making. You’ll work closely with different teams to deliver reliable dashboards and reports, making sure data is accessible and trustworthy across the company.

Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and manage Power BI dashboards and reports to support business objectives

- Convert complex data into clear and actionable visual representations

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and provide customized data visualization options

- Optimize Power BI systems for improved performance, scalability, and user experience

- Troubleshoot and resolve data issues to maintain high standards of data quality

- Integrate and organize data from multiple sources for unified reporting in Power BI

- Keep up with new Power BI updates and industry best practices to advance reporting capabilities

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related area

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles

- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including strong skills in DAX and MDX for complex calculations

- Solid experience with SQL for managing and querying databases

- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS for data storage and processing

- Skilled in Python for automating and manipulating data

- Strong English language skills, both written and spoken, at B2 level or above

Nice to have

- Experience with advanced Power BI functionalities such as paginated reports or Power BI Embedded

- Familiarity with other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView

- Knowledge of best practices in data modeling and ETL processes
