Your Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for business intelligence solutions that are built based on our well-defined tool stack and state-of-the-art-methodology. Your tasks cover requirement analysis, development and deployment of new as well as maintenance and operations of existing reporting solutions. Close collaboration with business departments, other IT teams and external partners is key to contribute to the efficient processing and analysis of valuable business information.
- In your new role you will :
- Take ownership of global reporting solutions with focus on Revenue / Market to Business
- Be responsible for the requirements analysis, design, implementation of prototypes and productive solutions in the area of Sales Reporting and Analytics
- Design and implement ETL Jobs and execute data analysis
- Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of change requests, ensuring timely prioritization, documentation, and implementation in alignment with business objectives
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between business users, IT platform teams, and cross-functional stakeholders

- You are best equipped for this position if you have :
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study
- At least 2 years of work experience as a Data Engineer in the area of Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Understanding and design of ETL processes
- Proficiency in entity relationship modeling and hands-on experience with Star and Snowflake schema modeling
- Expertise in big data technologies and data virtualization tools such as Hadoop, SSAS Tabular and Denodo Data Virtualization
- Profound knowledge of business intelligence and data management concepts
- Experience with reporting tools (ideally SAP Business Objects or Tableau)
- Good knowledge of relational databases (preferably Oracle and PL / SQL)
- Knowledge of SAP BW, SAP S / 4 Hana, SAP CRM, Automic Job Scheduling, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce would be a plus
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Fluency in English
