THE ROLE

We are looking for a

BI Developer

, who will be responsible for functional and technical design of BI solutions including user interfaces, KPI creation and cube development. You'll be working on multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges.

  • WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Design, Develop and Implement Power BI Models :
  • Design, develop and implement Power BI models that comply with established standards and best practices.
  • KPI and Metric Calculations :
  • Ensure accurate and relevant calculation of essential Metrics / KPIs using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
  • QA and Security Oversight :
  • Maintain the integrity of Reporting infrastructures and models, ensuring top-notch quality and security.
  • Cross-functional Teamwork :
  • Collaborate with various teams - from engineering to marketing, ensuring the smooth execution of BI projects.
  • Process Enhancement :

Spot areas of opportunity and spearhead initiatives for process improvement within the BI domain.

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Experience performing Data Modelling activities;
  • Experience working with Microsoft BI Tools;
  • Someone who is comfortable working with various programming languages (e.g. SQL, DAX);
  • Critical thinker
  • who is open to challenges;
  • A strong communicator, with the ability to turn numbers into a story that non-experts can understand;
  • Team player
  • and able to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Fluent in English

LOCATION

We're based in Porto, Portugal. Although there is the possibility of remote working, we are only considering people located in Portugal.
