OM Digital Solutions is a leading imaging company dedicated to leveraging data-driven insights to enhance business processes and decision-making. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team and play a key role in ensuring data processes run smoothly and efficiently.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor, and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and integrity.
• Analyse and optimize BI processes to improve data accessibility, reliability, and performance.
• Work closely with business units to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
• Develop and manage data integration processes to facilitate seamless interoperability across company and partner systems.
• Create and maintain data documentation, ensuring processes align with best practices and compliance standards.
• Act as an L2 support specialist for BI systems, addressing issues, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with other teams to resolve incidents efficiently.
• Implement ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management within the BI ecosystem.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance across BI platforms.

• What We’re Looking For
• Foundational experience supporting and maintaining data engineering workflows and processes, with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Hands-on experience with ETL development, data integration, and basic process automation.
• Ability to understand business requirements and assist in translating them into effective data solutions under guidance.
• Experience or exposure to providing L2 support for BI systems, with an understanding of ITIL-based support practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting processes, including dashboarding and data visualization tools.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Nice to Have
• Experience working in a structured IT support environment following ITIL standards.
• Familiarity with cloud data solutions and modern data architectures.
• Understanding of scripting or automation to enhance data processing efficiency.
