Role Overview:

We are looking for a BI Architect to integrate our teams in a client environment, leading the design and governance of Business Intelligence solutions based on the Microsoft ecosystem.

You will be responsible for defining BI architectures, data models, and reporting frameworks that ensure interoperability between systems, high‑quality analytics, and alignment with business needs. Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and data platforms, you will help drive data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.

  • What you will do:
  • Design and evolve the overall BI architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business requirements;
  • Define and model semantic layers, data models, and KPIs to support self‑service analytics and standardized reporting;
  • Lead the design and implementation of Power BI dashboards, reports, and dataflows, guaranteeing consistency and usability;
  • Oversee data integration and interoperability between source systems, data repositories, and BI platforms;
  • Explore, transform, and analyse large datasets using Microsoft technologies and analytical tools, including R;
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional needs into BI and data architecture requirements;
  • Support solution architecture activities, ensuring BI components are aligned with the wider Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, M365, Power Platform, AI);
  • Promote best practices in data quality, governance, security, and documentation across BI solutions;
  • Work closely with project management teams to ensure timely delivery of BI initiatives and alignment with strategic objectives..
  • What you are like:
  • Integrated Master’s degree or pre‑Bologna degree in Computer Science, Informatics Engineering, Mathematics, or similar;
  • Proficient in designing and implementing Power BI solutions (data models, DAX, dataflows, and visualization best practices);
  • Experienced in R programming and analytical techniques for data exploration, transformation, and advanced analytics;
  • Skilled in BI data modelling, requirements gathering, and translating business questions into analytical structures and KPIs;
  • Knowledgeable about Microsoft ecosystem architecture (Azure, SharePoint, Power Platform, M365, AI) and how BI fits within it;
  • Comfortable with solution and data architecture concepts, including integration patterns, security, and governance;
  • Experienced in project management practices, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and stakeholder communication;
  • Proficient in functional application management and system interoperability, particularly in contexts involving large, heterogeneous datasets;
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to work in multidisciplinary environments and drive data‑driven decision‑making.
