We are looking for a Data Engineer - PowerBI & Fabric for a project in Lisbon (hybrid).

  • Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and optimize Fabric capacity (CUs), ensuring performance efficiency, scalability, and prevention of throttling.
  • Define and enforce governance, security (RLS/OLS), and compliance standards across Power BI and Fabric environments.
  • Act as the technical reference for the operations team, troubleshooting complex issues and promoting best practices.
  • Design and implement Microsoft Fabric architecture solutions aligned with business, governance, and performance requirements.
  • Manage data integration patterns with Snowflake and other enterprise sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or similar;
  • More than 4 years of experience as Data Engineer – with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric administration, including capacity management, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Fabric components such as Lakehouse, EventStream, EventHouse, Dataflow Gen2, Alerts, and Snowflake Mirroring.
  • Solid knowledge of DAX, data modeling, RLS, and governance/security concepts at tenant, workspace, and dataset level.
  • Fluent in English (mandatory).
