We are looking for an Tableau Developer!

  • Responsibilities:
  • We need a visualization specialist who turns raw data into actionable business insight while delivering a first‑class user experience. Your dashboards will become the daily decision‑making tools for sales, trading, and senior management.
  • Design & build UI /UX focused Tableau dashboards that are interactive, responsive, and visually polished, delivering the KPIs the Front Office needs to act instantly.
  • Align every visualization with business requirements: Work hand in hand with business sponsors to translate their questions into clear, actionable insights.
  • Maintain data quality & governance: Partner with data engineers to validate sources, enforce governance rules and document lineage.
  • Optimize performance: Write efficient SQL, create well‑tuned extracts, and apply best‑practice data‑cleansing to achieve sub‑second response on large market‑feed datasets.
  • Standardize visual design: Develop and sustain reusable Tableau style guides, color palettes, typography rules and template libraries.
  • Support & continuously improve: Troubleshoot Tableau issues, monitor Server usage logs, and continuously refine dashboards for speed and usability.
  • Document everything: Keep an up-to-date catalogue of dashboards, data sources, KPI definitions and version history.
  • Stay ahead of Tableau and data visualization tools: Explore new features, extensions, and UI/UX trends; prototype innovative visual concepts that add measurable business value
  • Requirements:
  • Tableau (2 + years): End‑to‑end dashboards building with proven portfolio of business‑oriented visualizations (KPIs, drill‑throughs, responsive layout). Power BI expertise will also be considered.
  • SQL (advanced): Write efficient set‑based queries, build views, and optimize extracts for fast Tableau performance.
  • Python (Pandas): Clean, aggregate and shape before it lands into Tableau.
  • Data modeling / ETL knowledge: Design simple star/snow‑flake or dimensional schemas that support KPI dashboards; understand source → transform → load concepts (no deep‑pipeline engineering required).
  • UI/UX design in Tableau: Strong eye for layout, color theory, typography, and user‑flow; ability to create reusable style guides and template libraries.
  • Finance awareness: Strong interest or prior exposure to market‑data concepts. Ability to discuss these terms with traders/sales without needing a finance degree.
  • Analytical mindset: Comfortable digging into raw data, asking “why”, and turning findings into visual stories.
  • Clear Communicator: Explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences; produce concise documentation.
  • Proactive owner: Identify gaps, propose improvements, and drive them to production without waiting for direction.
  • Adaptable: Thrive in a fast moving, agile environment; quickly learn new Tableau features or visual design trends.
  • English (Expert): Spoken & written; interview in English.
