Your Role

Help shape the future of digital (parcel) logistics by developing advanced analytics systems for own and 3rd-party systems.

• Your Responsibilities
• Develop analytics applications based on the data provided by systems in a parcel sorting centre.
• Collaborate with Product Management and R&D.
• Work within interdisciplinary development teams, including machine control and system architecture.

• Your Profile
• Successfully completed university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Experience in Java programming language and Groovy.
• Knowledge of Kafka Streaming and creation of stream processors.
• Skills in creating dashboards with Grafana.
• Tool knowledge of NiFi and Node-RED.
• Kubernetes skills.
• Helpful: Knowledge in Angular, TypeScript, AI, MCP, and LLM.

• Enthusiasm regarding the development and implementation of innovative solutions with customers and internal partners.
• Team-oriented personality with a focus on delivering results.
• Excellent networking skills and ability to collaborate effectively with international development teams across multiple countries.
• Strong customer-oriented mindset.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, planning, and time-management skills, with a structured and result-oriented way of working.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present research findings.
• Negotiation-proof English, written and spoken. German is a plus.
