SAP Sovereign Cloud

SAP recently combined and harmonized all SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings, establishing an end-to-end process for the Public Sector and regulated industries. The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit is part of SAP Product Engineering with responsibility across the relevant Sovereign Cloud portfolio of SAP.
Role Overview

• We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in the areas of Business Technology Platform - Extensions within the Technology & Engineering unit of the Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations team.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Deployment automation and product operations/deployments
• Deployment documentation and supporting SAP Sovereign Cloud regional operations teams
• Requirements:
• University degree in computer science, engineering or similar
• Professional experience in Cloud Delivery related fields and technologies
• Experience with Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Good knowledge of public cloud providers (AWS, GCP and Azure) and their product offerings
• What You Bring:
• Cloud infrastructure, architecture and design knowledge
• Security knowledge like HashiCorp Vault
• Fundamental SAP product knowledge – Public Cloud like BTP, Success Factors, and Private Cloud Products
• Automation tools experience such as Ansible or Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• Work Experience:

5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Delivery related fields and technologies and 2+ years of Automation experience.
