Randstad is recruiting a DevOps Engineer, for direct integration in a company, with offices located in the north of Aveiro.

Hybrid work (2 days on-site and 3 days remote / week).

• Responsibilities:
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure as code.
• Building and setting up cloud network infrastructure (private links, private networks, VPNs etc.).
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions.

• Build creation for CI/CD pipelines
• Some experience with definition of pipelines and triggering them.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Bicep templates and/or Pulumi.

• Monitoring of cloud services
• Experience with setting up HTTP heath status checks
• Somebody who can read security advisories and act accordingly.
• Knowledge about triggering alerts based on logs and metrics.
• Assist in case of incidents by screening logs and assessing other health indicators.
• Experience with Azure tools such as AppInsights, Azure Security Center and Kusto.

• Deployment
• Basic knowledge about Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience with deploying Java web services.
• Knowledge about ensuring Docker images and their deployment to Kubernetes are securely done is a requirement.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service.

• Development
• Basic knowledge in shell scripting for Linux systems.
• Experience with scripting in TypeScript.
• Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
