Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Europe (Hybrid, Office-based or Home-based)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join our IMS team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based systems using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, infrastructure as code, and cloud security.

• We Will Rely On You For The Following
• Plan and design the cloud infrastructure with AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and applications, preferably using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the cloud infrastructure.
• Automate deployments and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
• Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems using AWS CloudWatch.
• Ensure cloud security and compliance with industry standards.

• What You Bring To The Team
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud operations or a related role.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, including EC2, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, and VPC.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.
• Experience with AWS EventBridge, SNS, SQS, and EKS is a plus.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell (and/or Python), preferably PowerShell
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications in AWS.
• Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with observability tools and practices for 24x7x365 monitoring and alerting.
• Identity and Access Management experience would be a bonus point for this role.
