Job Title:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer for SAP to join our team in the Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for building, hardening, and operating the SAP Sovereign Cloud environments used as reference by regional Operations teams.

You will work closely with SAP product teams, technical product managers, developers, security experts, and regional operators to ensure seamless deployment automation, product operations/deployments, and deployment documentation.

The successful candidate will have experience with technologies like Container Orchestration (Kubernetes), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), Monitoring and Logging (Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Kibana or Grafana), and good knowledge of public cloud providers (AWS, GCP and Azure) and their product offerings.

In addition, you will need to have fundamental SAP product knowledge – Public Cloud like BTP, Success Factors, and as well Private Cloud Products, as well as experience with Security like HashiCorp Vault and automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform and CI/CD pipelines e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, DroneCI or ArgoCD as well as knowledge of Git (preferred) or SVN.
