Our client, a fast-growing software consultancy specialising in the iGaming sector, is seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer to join their development team. This is a remote opportunity, open to candidates based in Portugal, Spain and Eastern European countries.

We’re looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with a strong DevOps background and 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and resilient infrastructure solutions, with a focus on automation, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.

Our tech stack includes AWS, Cloudflare, GitLab, Kubernetes, Go, and PostgreSQL, and we manage 24/7 backend infrastructure for online gaming providers.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design and manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless application and infrastructure updates.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure environments.

• Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering with a strong DevOps focus.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Strong understanding of network and system architecture.
• Ability to document infrastructure effectively.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and HashiCorp tools.
