Right now, we are looking for a Azure CloudOps Senior Engineer to integrate our internal team, based in Lisbon.

  • Your responsibilities include:
  • Design and implement platform architecture for Azure Local environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise security and compliance frameworks;
  • Deploy and operate services across Azure Local to support modern application workloads;
  • Monitor platform health, automate operational tasks, and manage capacity, identity, and network components;
  • Provide governance and lifecycle management for Azure Local resources, including templates, policies, and subscriptions;
  • Support integration with enterprise authentication, monitoring, and backup solutions;
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to enable secure, hybrid deployments that comply with regulatory requirements.
  • You must have:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience);
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in platform engineering and 5 years in the underlying technologies, with a focus on cloud technologies and automation tools;
  • Expert-level experience with Azure Local technologies;
  • Deep understanding of Azure platform services, networking, identity, and governance controls;
  • Experience operating in highly regulated or disconnected environments;
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation for Azure administration (e.g., PowerShell, Bicep, ARM templates, Terraform);
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud management, Azure Arc, and Azure Lighthouse;
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and high-availability architecture in Azure Stack environments;
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
