Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Azure Cloud experience (OCI is a plus), specifically in the following technical components:
  • Systems Administration: Experience with operating systems (Windows and Linux);
  • Networking: Understanding of virtual networks, VNETs, VPNs and network security;
  • Storage: Understanding of Azure storage solutions such as Blob Storage and Azure Files;
  • Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases in Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with other types of processes that, while not specific to a cloud team, have an impact on how resources are deployed, such as:
  • Development project experience;
  • CI/CD: experience with integration pipelines and continuous delivery;
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Knowledge of tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Terraform, preferably;
  • Automation: Ability to automate tasks using Ansible or other scripting tools.

Autonomy to design a resource architecture, including networking and security components, based on a business requirement;

Initiative to develop new skills as technology changes almost daily and we need to identify the impact on the current architecture/resources;

Experience of agile methodologies.
