Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer with experience in Google Cloud (GCP) to join a challenging and high-impact project. The focus will be on designing and implementing secure, scalable, and efficient cloud architectures , always aligned with industry best practices and strategic business objectives.

This will be a position with strong technical influence , where you will be able to introduce innovation, optimise processes and contribute to the digital transformation of the organization.

• What will you do?
• Design and validate cloud architectures that support business objectives, including integration, security, performance, and cost efficiency strategies .
• Promote standards, component reuse, governance, and automation in deployment processes.
• Support modernisation projects, digital transformation, proof of concept, and adoption of new technologies such as AI and cloud-native .
• Conduct PoCs to test and validate new technological solutions.
• Influence and guide technical teams in the implementation of best practices related to cloud, security, DevOps, CI/CD, and observability .

• What are we looking for?
• At least 5 years of experience in software architecture , focusing on microservices, APIs, integrations, and distributed solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of the GCP platform (Cloud DNS, Cloud Load Balancer, Cloud Armor, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Logging, Cloud IAM, Secret Manager, among others ).
• Ability to design, evaluate, and manage cloud architectures, including landing zones, reusable components, deployment, and governance .
• Ability to transform requirements into modular, secure, and scalable solutions , with a focus on microservices, APIs, and cloud-native .
• Lead the definition of technical guidelines, architecture standards, and ADRs , promoting standardisation and reuse of components.
• Ability to evaluate use cases (Go/NoGo2 Cloud) considering dependencies, security, costs and risks.
• Additional knowledge of DevSecOps tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps.
• Knowledge of integration with new AI technologies , namely GenAI .
• Strong involvement in security, observability and mentoring technical teams.
• English and portuguese fluency.
