Reporting to the Principal Cloud & Security Ops Engineer, this role focuses on automation, observability, and operational resilience across production systems. The successful candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and security of services, while mentoring engineers and promoting modern DevOps practices.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controlsBuild and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents)Oversee containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker in productionImplement observability tools for monitoring, alerting, and loggingOptimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiencyAutomate repetitive operational tasks to improve reliability and reduce downtimeCollaborate with development teams to embed DevOps best practices across the stackParticipate in- call rotations and incident response to ensure operational continuityRequired QualificationsIdeal Degree(s): BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, or a related fieldExperience: 4–7 years in DevOps, InfraOps, or cloud engineering roles• Must-Have:Strong experience with Google Cloud (AWS/Azure acceptable)Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestrationProficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalents)Experience managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalents)Strong background in observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)Familiarity with networking fundamentals, load balancing, and secure configurationsHands-on experience with incident response and system troubleshootingPreferred QualificationsPreferred: Google Cloud; Looker; Vertex AI; UiPath; N8N; CI/CD with GitHub & Google Cloud; React; PostgreSQL; Docker; Kubernetes; and other- adjacent tools.
