DevOps Lead with Java

Seniority: Senior (5 years of experience)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Languages: English (C1 level or higher. French knowledge is a plus!

✅About the Role

We are seeking a DevOps Lead with a strong background in Java development to take a key role in designing, automating, and optimizing our development and deployment pipelines. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for professionals who enjoy building automation, mentoring teams, and driving DevOps best practices across the organization.

• �� Required Skills
• 5 Years experience in DevOps engineering and Java-based application development.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
• Familiarity with security and identity frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• English (C1 level or higher. French knowledge is a plus!

• Languages & Frameworks: Java 8+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate 5, REST, Angular 14+, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML/CSS/SCSS
• Automation & Scripting: Bash, Python, awk
• DevOps Tools: GitLab CI/CD (Pipelines), Docker, Kubernetes
• Security & Identity: Keycloak, OAuth, OpenID, SAML, DAP
• Architecture: Microservices, Linux environments
• Messaging & Integration: Kafka

• �� Key Responsibilities
• Lead DevOps Practices: Oversee CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and automation workflows to streamline deployment and improve reliability.
• Develop & Integrate: Contribute to back-end development using Java (8+), Spring Boot (3+), and Hibernate (5).
• Automate: Build and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or awk to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement CI/CD: Manage pipelines through GitLab CI/CD, ensuring seamless integration, testing, and deployment.
• Secure & Manage Access: Configure authentication and authorization mechanisms using DAP, Keycloak, OAuth, OpenID, and SAML.
• Support Front-end Integration: Collaborate on REST API design and integration with Angular (14+), RxJS, and TypeScript.
• Ensure Stability: Monitor performance, optimize system reliability, and troubleshoot complex deployment issues.
