Objective:

The implementation and development of cloud-based data platforms require redefining ingestion mechanisms and redesigning data models.

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring data flows efficiently and securely across the organization, making it ready and accessible for analysis and strategic decision-making.

  • Your Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and implement data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Ensure efficient integration between systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows.
  • Your Profile:
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of proven experience in the role or a similar position.
  • Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and communication protocols.
  • Experience with Linux and MS-Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Tibco or equivalent).
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Technologies and Tools:
  • Big Data: ElasticSearch/SOLR
  • Databases: Oracle RAC, MS SQL, NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB)
  • Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Azure Fabric
  • Languages & Scripting: Shell Scripting, Python, PL/SQL
  • Tools: Ansible, Datastage, Microstrategy, GIT
  • Architectures: SOA, Distributed Systems, Messaging Infrastructures
  • Frameworks: SPARK
  • Operating Systems: MS Windows Server, Linux
  • Additional information:
  • Workplace type: Hybrid (max. of 3 times per week in the office).
  • Location: Picoas, Lisboa.
