• We are seeking a Senior DevOps Data Platform Engineer to join on an International project. Responsibilities:
• Help define and implement DevOps standards and play a key part in building the core of our future internal data platform.
• Improve and refine existing infrastructure and codebases, ensuring they remain efficient, stable, and up to date.
• Architect and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, establishing clear operational guidelines.
• Coordinate application deployments across all environments (Dev, QA, Preprod, Prod) within the Group Data ecosystem.
• Lead initiatives within the Group Data area, making sure new projects align with overall strategic objectives.
• Handle incidents in preproduction and production, following established escalation paths to ensure timely resolution.
• Advance automation efforts for assigned platforms and workflows to increase consistency, speed, and resilience.. What we are looking for:
• AWS services such as ECS, EC2, CloudFront/WAF, Glue, and Athena — extensive, hands-on experience using these components to build and run scalable environments.
• Terraform and CloudFormation — advanced capability in writing, maintaining, and optimising infrastructure-as-code.
• Jenkins, Git, and GitLab Pipelines — strong proficiency in creating automated CI/CD pipelines and managing code repositories.
• ECS and Docker for containerised microservices — deep understanding of microservice patterns and orchestration in production environments.
• Linux/Unix systems and core networking — expert knowledge for troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system reliability.
• Monitoring platforms such as Datadog and Coralogix — proven experience in configuring and operating observability tooling.
• Jira and similar ticketing systems — confident user of workflow and issue-tracking solutions.
• High-demand application support environments — strong mastery of support principles and operational excellence.
• Azure cloud components — practical exposure that contributes to versatility in hybrid or multi-cloud setups What will be a plus:
• Background in delivering projects across the entire IT lifecycle, from initial planning through to deployment and operation.
• Familiarity with data-driven technologies used in financial technology environments, with practical insight into their application. Work Regime: Hybrid regime (Needs to work at the office 3 times per week - Porto) What we offer:
