Why This Role
We’re expanding our existing team of two systems engineers in Portugal! This role is essential to scaling our infrastructure reliably, securely, and sustainably.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple regions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters, supporting a containerized environment at scale.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for all deployments.
- Build CI / CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI / CD, Jenkins) for streamlined, automated delivery.
- Set up and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack) for performance and alerting.
- Work closely with engineering teams to propose and validate technical designs.
- Proactively address system security, monitoring, and reliability in production environments.
- Collaborate effectively in English across a remote, multicultural team.
Main requirements
- Requirements
- 2+ years of DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud (GCP), including GKE.
- Strong understanding of Terraform and infrastructure automation.
- Proficiency in CI / CD systems and Git workflows.
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting for infrastructure tasks.
- Familiarity with observability tools and cloud security principles.

- Experience with the Elastic Stack (ELK).
- Advanced Python scripting.
