As a Senior Azure Platform Engineer, you will be working for our client in the real estate and IT software solutions sector. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and evolving a cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Azure services, with a focus on automation, scalability, security, and high performance. • Your main responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure, primarily using AKS for container orchestration.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, adhering to GitOps principles.
• Manage and secure Kubernetes clusters, integrating open-source tools like FluxCD, Kong, and Linkerd within Azure environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and operational excellence of the platform.
• Develop automation tools and scripts to improve developer experience (DevX) and streamline application lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with security best practices and zero-trust standards across cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud environments, performance, and security.
• Stay updated with evolving cloud and Kubernetes technologies, integrating new solutions as appropriate.

• You're ideal for this role if you have:
• 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong expertise in Azure cloud platform, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), networking, and storage.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions and GitOps principles.
• Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Hands-on knowledge of open-source Kubernetes tools like FluxCD, Kong, and Linkerd.
• Programming skills in Go, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with scripting in Bash or Shell.
• Familiarity with UX and DevX principles to enhance developer experience.
• Solid understanding of security practices, zero-trust architecture, and Azure/Kubernetes security features.

• It is a strong plus if you have:
• Azure certifications.
• Experience with open-source tools and observability technologies in Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.
