DevOps - CloudOps - hybrid Lisbon - long-term contract role

Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a DevOps engineer, this is to work for a fantastic client on a contract basis, initial contract will be 6 months, this will be hybrid working in Lisbon.

Essential experience for the role:

  • 3–5+ years in CloudOps, DevOps, or SRE roles.
  • Solid operational knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch).
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB in production environments.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Grafana,

OpenTelemetry).

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Kubernetes operations (Amazon EKS).
  • AWS cost management tools and FinOps practices.
  • Experience with other databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka).
  • Exposure to healthcare compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
