Cloud Engineer - 12 Month B2B Contract - Consultancy - Fully Remote
We’re partnering with a leading consultancy in Portugal to hire multiple Cloud Engineers for a major 12 month AWS migration programme. This is a fully remote B2B contract , but candidates must be based in Portugal .
If you’re strong with AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps tooling and want to contribute to a high-impact cloud transformation, this project is for you.
What You’ll Be Working On
- You’ll join a specialist engineering team responsible for migrating critical services from Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Your day-to-day will involve :
- Migrating production workloads from GCP to AWS
- Designing, deploying, and scaling EKS clusters
- Managing infrastructure via Terraform
- Building & maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
- Creating and optimizing CI / CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
- Troubleshooting cloud, Kubernetes, and network issues
- Ensuring reliability, security, and performance across the new AWS estate
- Collaborating closely with architects, platform, and development teams
