Asenium is recruiting an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support infrastructure and cloud solutions across our clients’ environment.

Location : Remote (Portugal-based only)

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure on AWS

Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform , CloudFormation , or similar tools

Monitor cloud environments and ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with application needs

Enforce cloud security best practices and handle incident resolution

Required Skills :

Minimum 4 years of experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS

Strong knowledge of core AWS services : EC2 , S3 , VPC , IAM , RDS , CloudWatch , Lambda , etc.

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting (e.g., Python , Bash , PowerShell )

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines , DevOps practices , and container services like ECS or EKS

Fluent in English ; Portuguese is a plus

Must be based in Portugal
