Job Title : Senior DevOps Architect

Employment Model : Contract / Freelance

Contract Length : 6 months (extendable)

Work Model : Hybrid (Twice a month at client's office in Lisbon)

Location : Portugal

Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Architect to lead the end to end migration of a large scale GitLab environment to GitHub. This is a contract role with an immediate start, operating on a hybrid basis with on site presence at the client’s office in Lisbon twice per month.

• Key Responsibilities
• Lead and architect a GitLab to GitHub migration
• Design and deliver robust DevOps and CI CD architectures
• Coordinate and guide offshore DevOps teams
• Engage stakeholders through clear communication, alignment, and regular updates

• Required Skills and Experience
• 10+ years of DevOps experience, with 5+ years in architecture
• Strong hands on expertise in DevOps and CI CD
• Proven experience leading migration or transformation projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English

• Nice to Have
• Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of Terraform
• Experience with cloud native technologies
