• We're looking for a skilled Junior Cybersecurity Technician to join our team at AskBlue, a company born in 2013 that provides services in the field of information technology. This role is based in Lisbon and part of our Integrated Service Solutions business area.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Review, adapt, and improve procedures to ensure seamless operations
• Support in ISO 27001 audits, ensuring compliance with security standards
• Create action plans to address identified areas for improvement
• Conduct reviews of controls according to ISO 27001 and NIST 2
• Analyze, control, assess, and mitigate vulnerabilities across various platforms
• Develop and implement internal training programs on cybersecurity awareness
• Participate in crisis scenario simulation projects to test response strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements aligned with business objectives
• Requirements:
• Experience with shell scripting using Perl and/or Python
• Familiarity with static and dynamic analysis methodologies for web applications and platforms
• Hands-on experience with Web Application Firewalls, IDS, and IPS
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of Cloud fundamentals, including Azure and AWS
• Able to identify and address API vulnerabilities
• Proficient in source code review and analysis
• Familiarity with network protocols, data on the wire, and application design architecture
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST2 frameworks
• Able to document technical details in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent multitasking and stakeholder management skills
• Desirable Qualifications:
• Master's degree in information security or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience applying monitoring and compliance controls on developments
