About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join a dynamic project with an estimated duration of 18 months. The position requires regular on-site collaboration with the client’s security lead in Carnaxide, Lisbon. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a critical initiative, contributing to the migration of repository technologies and the implementation of standard software security tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Migration of Repository Technology
• Develop an action plan with all stakeholders.
• Support the migration of the existing repository technology to the parent company’s systems in Spain.
• Assist in the migration of actions and runners.
• Track and report progress to program management in regular meetings.

• Implementation of Standard Software Security Tools
• Develop an action plan with all stakeholders.
• Support the migration/implementation of the source code analyzer.
• Assist in the migration/implementation of dependency scanners.
• Support the migration/implementation of web application scanners.
• Integrate the tools into the parent company’s security dashboards and tracking mechanisms.
• Track and report progress to program management in regular meetings.

• Qualifications and Skills
• Proven experience with CI/CD pipeline configuration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong knowledge of security scanners, including source code analysis, dependency scans, and dynamic application scans.
• Familiarity with GitHub and GitLab concepts, such as runners and repositories.
• Experience integrating with IDEs (e.g., VS Code).
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to align with cultural and behavioral expectations.
• English is mandatory
