Mission

As part of the Engineering Department at PSA Sines, this professional will have the following main responsibilities, support PSA Sines Business Owners and Local IT Security Officer in the definition and implementation of common controls, processes and supporting tools to manage IT security risks and comply with the relevant policies and standards in combination with OT environment.

Main responsibilities

✓ Support PSA Business Owners and Local IT Security Officer in the investigation and remediation of incidents/violations.✓ Communicate security awareness and develop wide understanding of the existing Security Standards and localregulatory requirements to OT community.✓ Perform OT security and system performance operations/monitoring activities.✓ Diagnostics and troubleshooting of OT systems in sync with IT/Networking requirements.✓ Participation in the commissioning of new OT systems and automatic equipment.✓ Active member on projects related to the implementation of new industrial OT/IT systems.✓ Cooperation in the design and implementation of IT solutions on terminal devices.✓ Support on revamping/expansion of corporate computer networks and industrial networks.✓ Support for users of industrial OT/IT systems.✓ Perform and maintain OT inventory life cycle management in combination with common IT inventory and financial controls.✓ Work closely to Automation team on new equipment acquisition and networking integration to existing networking setup.✓ Create network architectures for OT environments, including routing and switching configurations.✓ Implement measures to protect OT networks from internal and external threats.✓ Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring stability and reliability.✓ Diagnose and resolve network issues to minimize downtime.

Hard Skills

✓ Knowledge and appliance of foundational requirements for setting up or maintaining a IACS system.✓ Networking protection technologies including Network Firewalls, Virtual Local Area Networks (VLAN), Boundary Protection and Network Firewalls.✓ Industrial knowledge of DCS/SCADA/PLC and others ICS related.✓ Understanding of ICS/OT environment.✓ Architecture awareness of OT systems.✓ Knowledge on Siemens S7, Siemens Sinamics, etc.✓ Knowledge on communication protocols, ASI Bus, Can Bus, Profinet, etc.✓ Knowledge of network technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.

Expected Education, Training, Experiences

✓ University degree in Computer science, Automation or Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical or Electric).✓ Work experience in IT/OT environment.✓ Proven Experience in CSOT Programs (Cybersecurity Operational Technology). ✓ IEC 62443 standard for IACS (Industrial Automation & Control Systems).✓ No contraindications to work at heights above 3 meters.✓ Fluent in English.
