About the Role

• We are seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join our team at Siemens Energy in Portugal. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a vital role in supporting the energy industry's digital transformation by providing expert guidance on risk reduction measures and implementing security strategies.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Understand the energy industry threat landscape and provide advice on risk reducing measures to business units.
• Collaborate with internal digital departments to implement security measures and strategies.
• Develop and implement guidelines, standards, processes, and concepts in cyber security to advise executive management and partners.
• Analyze security requirements and translate them into standard configurations and processes.
• What You Bring
• A university degree or equivalent experience in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Professional experience across different functions and businesses with a minimum of 5 years in Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to describe technical concepts in simple terms both verbally and in written reports.
• Intercultural awareness and ability to work in cross-functional, multi-national teams.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of time.
• Cybersecurity certifications (CCSP, CISSP, ISMS Lead Auditor, ISO Lead Auditor, or equivalent) are a plus.
