Cyber Security Analyst

The role of Cyber Security Analyst involves safeguarding information systems and ensuring that security policies are effectively implemented.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, antivirus software, and endpoint protection, in accordance with defined security policies.
• Monitor systems for security alerts and respond to minor incidents, while reporting serious issues to senior team members.
• Support tasks like vulnerability scans, penetration tests, software updates, and security issue resolution.
• Manage access to key systems and maintain track of users with special or high-level permissions.
• Organize and deliver basic security training sessions for staff, tailored to different teams.
• Ensure new projects adhere to security rules, assist in checking system setups, and technical designs.
• Maintain clear records of incidents, risks, and any security issues, as well as up-to-date documentation on security tools and controls.
• Assist in implementing and testing backup and recovery plans (BCP/DRP), and record results for review.

• Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer or Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Certifications in Cybersecurity or Security Management are advantageous.
• Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, antivirus, and endpoint protection tools.
• Native English proficiency is essential, with advanced Spanish skills beneficial.
• Proactive, team-oriented individual with strong planning, communication, and negotiation skills.
