We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team at Blaze Information Security, a leading cybersecurity services firm established in 2016 with a presence in Berlin, Porto, Kraków, and Recife, with 300+ customers in over 25 countries. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business through targeted outbound prospecting and cold outreach efforts with- market and enterprise customers, with the primary goal of booking qualified meetings for Account Executives. You’ll help drive growth by creating pipeline opportunities related to penetration testing, red teaming and other cybersecurity services in our portfolio. We are looking for individuals willing to work from our offices in Porto, Portugal, but remote work in Portugal can be an option for the right candidate. Applicants must have valid work authorization for the EU - visa sponsorship is not available. Key responsibilities. As a Business Development Representative , your main responsibilities will include:. Researching and identifying potential leads that match our ideal customer profile (ICP) Reaching out to qualified prospects through cold email campaigns, LinkedIn messaging, and phone calls Book meetings and support pipeline creation for Account Executives Keeping detailed records of all outreach activities and lead interactions in the CRM Track performance against weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs and contribute to demand generation initiatives with the sales team. Required skills. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:. Proven track record in outbound prospecting and meeting booking through multichannel campaigns Familiarity with CRM platforms (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive), lead enrichment tools (e.g., LeadIQ, Lusha), and outbound sequencing tools (e.g., Apollo, Lemlist, Outreach, Salestools) A structured, organized approach to managing leads and- ups Self-motivated and persistent individual, with a hunter mentality and proven experience prospecting- market and enterprise customers Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets A proactive and- driven attitude, with a passion for learning and professional growth. Professional requirements:. 2-3 years of experience in a BDR/SDR role in B2B tech, cybersecurity, or IT services Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a strong plus) Ability to live and work legally in Portugal. Compensation and expectations for performance targets :. Compensation: Competitive base salary with- based commission + employee benefits. €30,000-€35,000 OTE per year with an accelerator bonus above quota, depending on experience and qualifications Pipeline expectations: Target of generating €500K-€800K in qualified pipeline per quarter Meetings booked target: 15-20 qualified meetings per month.
