Information Security Analyst

Aubay Portugal is a French multinational company operating in Portugal since 2007. We have offices in Lisbon and Oporto, specializing in Management, Implementation, Development, and Maintenance of Information Systems.

• We collaborate with over 150 active partners across sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications, services, energy, and transportation.
• Responsibilities:
• Continuous monitoring of security events
• Initial triage of alerts and incident response
• Use of SIEM and security platforms for monitoring
• Analyzing alerts to identify false positives and genuine threats
• Following defined procedures to respond to incidents
• Escalating complex incidents to higher-level analysts (Tier 2 / 3)
• Requirements:
• Mandatory technical knowledge:
• At least 1 year of experience with SIEM tools and other security monitoring platforms
• Ability to analyze alerts and distinguish between false positives and real threats
• Familiarity with incident response procedures (e.g., blocking malicious IPs)
• Ability to escalate complex incidents to higher-level analysts (Tier 2 / 3)
• Desirable technical knowledge:
• Knowledge of networks, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals
• Familiarity with SIEM solutions
• Ability to follow incident response playbooks
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications
• Personal Skills:
• Good oral and written communication skills in Portuguese and English
• Ability to work under pressure
• Teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment
