Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer for Infrastructure Protection.

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. The role involves monitoring and analyzing security events across various infrastructure layers, conducting compliance assessments and security audits, managing vulnerabilities, supporting security operations and governance, and providing strategic input on security tools and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events to ensure timely detection and response.
- Conduct compliance assessments and audits to verify adherence to policies and regulations.
- Manage vulnerabilities by documenting, prioritizing, and collaborating on remediation.
- Support security operations and governance to enhance organizational resilience.
- Contribute to the development of security monitoring tools and frameworks.

Requirements:
- Experience with security event monitoring and incident response (SIEM, log analysis)
- Knowledge of vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Nessus, OpenVAS, Tenable)
- Understanding of frameworks and standards (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, GDPR, OWASP)
- Risk assessment and mitigation skills
- Security architecture and infrastructure hardening (Cloud and On-prem)
- Proficiency with security tools such as:
- SIEM: Splunk, ELK Stack, IBM QRadar
- Endpoint Protection: CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Bitdefender
- Threat Intelligence: Shodan, Cycognito
- Cloud & Container Security: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
