Blaze Information Security is a leading cybersecurity company established in 2016 with a presence in Berlin, Porto, Kraków, and Recife. We are seeking an experienced Account Executive (AE) to join our team and drive new revenue from- market and enterprise customers. In this role, you will combine- sourced outbound prospecting with inbound and BDR-generated leads to close new business for penetration testing, red teaming, and other cybersecurity services in our portfolio. We are seeking individuals willing to work from our offices in Porto, Portugal. However, remote work in Western Europe may be an option for the right candidate. Applicants must have valid work authorization for the EU - visa sponsorship is not available. Key responsibilities. As an Account Executive , your main responsibilities will include:Owning the entire sales cycle from first contact through discovery, scoping, proposal, negotiation, close and renewalProspecting- market and enterprise accounts and sourcing 12 BANT-qualified opportunities per quarter on your ownReaching out to qualified prospects through cold email campaigns, LinkedIn messaging, and phone callsConverting inbound leads and BDR-generated meetings into qualified opportunities and- won dealsMaintaining accurate records of all activities, pipeline stages, and forecasts in the CRMTraveling to conferences and exhibitions to meet prospects, present our services, and strengthen relationshipsCollaborating closely with Technical Consulting, Marketing, BDRs, and Customer Success to ensure smooth- handoffs and high client satisfaction. Required skills. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:Expertise in outbound prospecting, discovery, and qualification using frameworks such as BANT or MEDDICFamiliarity with CRM platforms (such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Pipedrive), lead enrichment tools (e.g., Lead IQ, Lusha)A structured, organized approach to managing pipeline and- upsSelf-motivated and persistent individual with a “hunter” mentalityA proactive and- driven attitude, with a passion for learning and professional growthPreferable:- an existing rolodex of cybersecurity, IT, audit or compliance makers. Professional requirements:3-5 years of experience in a- carrying Account Executive or similar closing role in B2B tech, cybersecurity, or IT servicesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a strong plus)Ability to work and live in the European Union. Compensation and performance targets:Compensation:- Competitive base salary with- based commission + employee benefits. €50,000-€80,000 OTE per year, depending on experience and qualificationsSelf-sourced opportunities:- 12 BANT-qualified opportunities per quarterRevenue quota:- Achieve or exceed assigned quarterly and annual targetsEvent attendance:- Represent Blaze at three major industry events per year.
